But enough of the chit-chat. Let’s talk facts before we move on to the fun stuff, like celebration and decorations.
Here’s what we know so far (and what’s getting everybody excited about) this year’s Super Bowl LII:
- It’s the first Sunday in February. Super Bowl LII falls on Sunday, February 4, 2018.
- It’s in Minneapolis. Fans will be watching Super Bowl LII played from the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, newly built for the start of the 2016 football season. Minneapolis was picked as the 2018 Super Bowl spot back in 2014.
- It’s going to be cold. The average February low in Minneapolis sits at 13 degrees, making game day snow a possibility.
- It has Justin Timberlake. And fans couldn’t be happier. JT recently announced he’ll be performing at the 2018 Super Bowl halftime show, 14 years after his infamous show with Janet Jackson.
- It’s looking good for the Patriots. If VegasInsider.com predictions are right (as many fans are praying they are), the New England Patriots currently sit at the top of the “odds to win” list. Runner-up contenders include the Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, and Pittsburgh Steelers.

- Start with a stand made of a 6-inch piece of PVC.
- Join using a tee to two more 6-inch PVC pieces. This will create the shape of a “T.”
- To make the “Y” goalpost shape, add a 12-inch piece of PVC to each side using elbow connectors.
