The 2017 Top Workplaces list recognizes Houston’s leading 150 employers, from small companies with 50 employees to large companies with more than 500 people. Evaluations are based on survey responses from more than 84,000 area employees. In partnership with the Houston Chronicle, Energage, a Philadelphia-based research and consulting firm that recently changed its name from WorkplaceDynamics, invited local companies to participate in the survey and then tallied the responses. Respondents rated their companies on qualities such as potential for advancement, work schedule flexibility, pay and benefits, and leadership.
